Forno d'Asolo, based in Maser (Treviso), was founded in 1985: today it is one of the main national operators in the sweet and savory frozen bakery products, with an international vocation in constant expansion.
21 Invest invested in Forno d'Asolo in March 2014 with the aim of enhancing its industrial heritage in “Made in Italy” bakery products, aiming for a strong development both in Italy and abroad.
Throughout the holding period Forno d’Asolo enjoyed strong growth thanks to the expansion of its distribution network and the penetration of Italian areas with limited coverage through the establishment of 11 new logistics platforms since entry.
Forno d’Asolo completed the strategic acquisition of “La Donatella” which allowed it to expand its product range to include frozen cakes as well as increase its international footprint.
On the back of these targeted actions, Forno d’Asolo experienced a yearly growth of 15% from 2014 to 2018 (CAGR) becoming a fast-growing company operating in the thriving Italian frozen bakery market.
In August 2018, 21 Invest sold Forno d’Asolo to BC Partners, a leading international investment firm, to pursue the already thriving growth path.

Forno D’Asolo provides a structured response to sector’s need to make the barista profession and cafè ownership more appealing, profitable and successful by establishing the Forno d’ Asolo Academy and the innovative “Professional Barista” Master’s course.
