2100 Ventures is a European venture capital firm founded in 2023 by Alessandro Benetton and three professionals with expertise in finance and international venture capital: Andrea Casasco, Andrea Gennarini, and Andrea Gurnari.
With offices in Milan and London, 2100 Ventures already has a portfolio of more than 25 international start-ups across 8 European countries in early-stage (Pre-seed and Seed), within sectors such as Software as a Service (SaaS), artificial intelligence (AI), fintech, data, and ClimateTech. The majority of these investments have a ticket size of €k 200 - €k 500 in start-ups either based in Italy or founded by Italians abroad.
2100 Ventures in just two years has become a key bridge between the Italian and European venture capital markets, aiming to attract top entrepreneurial talent.
21 Invest, founded by Alessandro Benetton in 1992, has raised and managed nearly €Bn 3 from Italian and international institutional investors across 14 funds in three countries (Italy, France, and Poland) to date, and will support 2100 Ventures by providing expertise and synergies in the asset management sector.
At the same time, it will gain privileged access to emerging innovation trends: from value creation to data utilization to support digital innovation in traditional industries and developing innovative models for a global transition towards a sustainable economy.
